The Aluminium Task Force recently released the APP Benchmarking and Measurement Project 2008 report - which establishes benchmarking indicators for Aluminium Task Force projects as part of project ATF-06-01 - and four documents related to its Bauxite Residue project, ATF-06-03, which specify priority research areas, analyze bauxite residue chemistry, review current management practices, and outline re-use options for bauxite residue.
The 6th Aluminium Task Force Meeting will be held in Vancouver, Canada on 22 March 2010, in conjunction with Globe 2010.

アジア太平洋パートナーシップ加盟国は、世界のアルミニウム生産量の37% を生産する。アルミニウム産業は最も急速に成長しているセクターの一つであり、特に途上国における急速な成長が著しい。この産業は、既存装置の最善実施利用（特にPFC 排出管理）、最善の利用可能かつ安価な技術の導入（改良型設備を含む）、新規技術開発及びその普及努力の継続、リサイクル率の向上等により、コストを低減しつつ、環境パフォーマンスを更に向上させることができる。参加国は、パートナーシップを通じて、最善の実施方法を促進し、より多くの技術支援を提供し、利用可能で安価な最善の技術の展開を妨げる障壁を特定することにより、自国の産業のPFC 削減目標を地球規模の目標に近づけ、エネルギー効率化や他のCO2 プロセスからの排出量を改善できる。
